Don't be mad at me 'cause I'm mad at myself

Sigh, I am such a big douchebag when it comes to making plans with friends. I swear my mind likes to separate all the information, take it on holiday, then come back when it's too late.

If you're reading this, Phia, I'm sorry!

Relient K, anyone?

I honestly don't know why I haven't met more Relient K fans. Their lyrics are so full of meaning and Matt Thiessen, the lead singer, has a voice that just emotes. When he sings that he's dying, I wholly believe it. I'll even listen to this song on repeat if I were in the mood for Relient K and that's only song I have from them.

Have a look at these lyrics:
No two people could have been more alone than us
The years would go by and she'd love someone else
And I realized I hadn't been loved yet myself

Don't you just feel like giving him some love?

Or:
Yeah if life was a highway
I was drunk at the wheel

That just makes me smile. It's sad, but it's such a good metaphor.

Or:
An injury I'll cause with my fist
It seems to be slightly masochistic
But there'll be no story without all this dissension
So I inflict the conflict
With the utmost of intention

Anyway, I'm supposed to be entering numbers and whatnot into the computer now, but this fully-functional keyboard just tempted me so much! I can type so much so fast on this...

Aaaand now the Cheryl who can't stop talking about mundane things like broken keyboards and left-behind chargers has taken over.

Oh, I didn't mention I left my charger at work and had to do without my phone from 7pm yesterday till 9am this morning?

I just did. It's still mundane.

Have a good 'un, mates!

Hey you pretty people! Whatcha doin'? Oh, perusing my wee little blog? Why, how sweet of you! Here, have some pesticide!

Sheer stupidity

Oh, you guys would laugh so hard if you knew the level of stupidity I demonstrated tonight. I didn't know I could be so silent.

Usually I'm a talkative person, honestly. I could be standing next to a stranger and if we had something to commiserate over, I would be all over it. "The rain is nuts, huh? You got an umbrella?" "Nope." "Me neither."

See? All over it.

But today I just clammed up like a clogged toilet. No, I can't come up with a better analogy because I am mad at myself. I have got to learn how to chill and mellow out. Maybe I should start carrying chocolate around in my bag.

Hi again

I didn't realize that it's been almost a year since my last blog post. I'm older now.

Still the same old me. Except I'd like to think my taste in music has grown more refined...oh wait, I like a new song of Pitbull's. Never mind.

Recently, I found a friend's blog by chance, and it inspired me to start writing again. I'm not sure why or how it inspired me, but let's just say that I got nostalgic, hopeful, and STOP PRYING FURTHER YOU SICK KAYPOHS I'M NOT TELLING YOU ANYTHING [HERE]!

That outburst was just to wake you up from the deep sleep you've fallen into while reading this. You're welcome.

Looks

No, looks aren't everything, but they make you notice something, which may or may not lead to everything. So if you don't have looks, nobody notices anything, and everything becomes nothing.

That was real deep for me. And emo. So...scratch that and fuck cares about looks. If you don't notice the awesomeness that lies beneath, you're not worth it.

Then why am I still hung up on you? Huh.

Where is my Pottermore welcome email!?!?

Golden Girls

Oh Rose Nylund, how I love thee.

Disclaimer: This post is just for my easy future reference, so...you don't have to read it.

Rose:
I’ve never been in jail. I won’t make it. They always prey on the weak and innocent. The others will taunt me for trying to excel at my work in the laundry. I’ll fall in with a bad crowd, whose leader looks like Ethel Merman. And I’ll be forced to engineer a daring prison break using my laundry cart. From that time on, I won’t know a moment’s peace. I’ll scar my fingerprints with battery acid and I’ll run from town to town, taking jobs that people have who got bad grades in school. And then one day, they’ll find me, holed up in a little shack in the Louisiana bayou. And a sheriff named Bull will call my name out over a megaphone and when I make a run for it he’ll riddle my body with bullets! Oh please don’t let them take me downtown! I want to live! I want to live!

I freaking love this episode.
